There are two bands using this name: 1. Toad the Wet Sprocketwas an American folk-rockband which consisted of singer Glen Phillips, guitarist Todd Nichols, bassist Dean Dinning, and drummer Randy Guss. Toad the Wet Sprocket was formed in 1986 at San Marcos High School just outside of Santa Barbara, California, when singer-songwriterGlen Phillips was just a 14-year-old freshman, and the other members were 17-year-old juniors. The band drew its name from the Eric Idle monologue "Rock Notes" on Monty Python's Contractual Obligation Album from 1980. Didnt know they were a part of it
I cant tell
It would seem theres a lot that I dont know
Standing with the perfect view
I could not go far enough away from you
Ive seen it all before
And know its only words
Never meant half of the things I said to you
So you know
Theres a half that might be true
Hello
I cant hear, its in my ear
Hello
Have you heard a single word
Hello?
